It gives me immense pleasure to introduce Col J.S Negi, a distinguished member of our SSB Expert Desk.
Col J.S Negi is a second-generation Army officer with vast experience and wisdom. He is instrumental in shaping and guiding the students of our elite academy.
He has done his attachment with the Parachute Battalion (Special Forces), a unit known for fierce counter-insurgency operations and elimination of hardcore militants in Jammu & Kashmir and the Northeast.
He has served actively in regimental tenures with Engineers, EME, Signals, Artillery, and Air Defence. In addition, the officer has served in Regimental Centres and Officers Training Academy, Gaya (Bihar) & College of Material Management.
A passionate sportsman, he has led his football team up to the corps level. For his exemplary dedication towards service, he has been awarded the GOC-in-C commendation card thrice and a Certificate of Excellence from OTA Gaya for selfless, good service.
We are privileged to have Col J.S Negi as a guide and mentor our students. His fitness, vast experience, and motivational skills are unparalleled, and it will be ensured that each and every student gains the skills, knowledge, and mindset to excel in the SSB and in future endurance.
